Our Vision
Do you see what we see?
NKJMP’s Core 6™ values include:
Character
One’s life is one that leads to life-long pursuit of improved character. It is lived out through love, respect, and service to others. One’s character is essential to defining their mission in life.
Financial
A high level of financial literacy that leads to one becoming financially free. Financial freedom, as we define it, is the point at which one has the ability to decide when and how they acquire income without the pressure of expenses. Financial freedom helps one to fulfill their personal mission without restraint.
Health and Wellness
Living the healthiest life possible in order to fulfill one’s personal mission. Our definition includes one’s emotional, physical, and mental wellness. In addition, one has a healthy balance between work, play, and family.
Relational
One has safe and healthy connections in friendships, dating, marriage and work. These connections include closeness, boundaries, integrity, and maturity. One’s life mission is fulfilled within a community of sound relationships.
Cultural/Intellectual
One has a thorough understanding of their identity as it relates to their racial, cultural, and ethnic past, present, and future. Furthermore, one is consistently stimulating their mind to promote change and growth as it relates to their mission.
Professional
One’s mission and one’s vocation (“calling”) are inseparable. Decisions about the other five core values are integrated into one’s life’s work We envision people defining success by living out a personal mission statement and by being balanced in these six values.
Furthermore, we envision a radical reformation in education whereby NKJMP’s Core 6™ values are integrated into the K-12 curriculum and become just as critical as traditional reading, writing, and arithmetic. Consequently, this reformation will cause the people, the systems, and the methodologies to be transformed in the process.
